Judge delays Dellick hearing

Published: Fri, November 22, 2013 @ 11:05 p.m.

CANFIELD

Visiting Judge Michael Nunner on Friday agreed to a defense request to postpone a preliminary hearing for John Dellick.

Judge Nunner rescheduled the hearing on the charge of aggravated assault, and special prosecutors with the state attorney general’s office did not object to the continuance.

Dellick, 19, the son of Mahoning County Juvenile Court Judge Theresa Dellick, is accused of a road- rage incident in Canfield Township on Oct. 18 where he collided with another car during an argument.

He also faces misdemeanor charges of aggravated menacing in Youngstown Municipal Court for allegedly threatening a woman on the campus of Youngstown State University earlier this month. He has a Dec. 18 pretrial hearing in municipal court on that charge.

Has she resigned or been disqualified yet? Really the state should step in and can her. She is totally unqualified to sit in Judgement on the juvenile bench any longer. Think like Kerrigan the juvenile offenders whose lives she ruined thru flawed judgement.
