Boardman police answered a theft call at the Southern Park Mall after more than $1,800 in merchandise was taken from Victoria’s Secret.

Police were dispatched to the business inside the mall on Thursday for the theft.

An employee told police at 12:30 p.m. the anti-theft sensor went off in the store as multiple females exited.

They ran south toward Sears department store.

It is believed they got away with $1,867 in bras.

Police were not called until an hour after the incident.
