An item for snow and shell

story tease

SPECIAL TO THE VINDICATOR Joey Lettieri, 5, and Isabella Lettieri, 9, of Cape Hatteras, in the Outer Banks of North Carolina, were visiting Grandma Joanne Shutrump in Boardman this week when they got a blast of Northeast Ohio winter weather. Of course, the kids’ very first snowman had to be a work of art, right down to the hat and scarf that give him a distinctly cool fashion air. In the spirit of the best of both worlds, the flaky character they dubbed Chester has a face made with seashells from the seashore. The children’s parents are Maryjill (Shutrump) and John Lettieri.
