Lions and NHS clean roadside

SPECIAL TO THE VINDICATOR Boardman Lions Club joined forces with Boardman High School National Honor Society members and cleaned a stretch of the roadside along Southern Boulevard between Western Reserve Road and Route 224. They collected 42 bags of trash and six bags of recyclable materials, including a $5 bill, while working in conjunction with the County Engineer’s Office and the Green Team. Above, from left, are John Landers, Lions Club member; Rudy Tepsick, Dante DeLullo and Tommy Sodeman, NHS members; Joni Blase and Terry Shears, Lions Club members; and Alex Gordon, NHS member. King Lion Ron Paris also participated in the cleanup.
