St. Joseph and Immaculate Heart of Mary Home and School Association will host its annual fall quarter auction Friday at the Immaculate Heart parish center, 4470 Norquest Blvd., Austintown. Doors will open at 6:15 p.m., and the auction will begin at 7. The BYOB event is limited to adults only. Tickets are $10 and must be purchased in advance. A required bid from one to four quarters for each item will be based on the value of the item; take your own quarters. Pop, water and various snacks will be available for purchase. Heritage Presbyterian Church, 1951 Mathews Road, Poland, will sponsor a bingo and basket party at 3 p.m. Sunday. Tickets are $5 and include a hot dog, chips, coffee and bingo cards. The kitchen will serve haluski, hot dogs, desserts and beverages starting at 1:30.


Alliance Community Hospital’s Community Care Center, 200 E. State St., will have its annual craft show from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday in the nursing home activity rooms and hallways. Maps will be available to all shoppers showing vendor table locations. Every shopper who visits each vendor will be entered into a drawing for a prize.

St. Jude Craft Show will take place from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday at St. Jude Activity Center, 180 Seventh St., Columbiana. It will feature hand-crafted and homemade items, a basket auction, bake sale, prize raffle and lunch counter. Vendors are needed. The event is sponsored by St. Jude Women’s Guild. Lake Milton American Legion is hosting a cancer benefit for Chuck Ripley, a 1989 Jackson-Milton graduate. The event will take place from 6 to 10 p.m. Saturday at the legion hall, 11756 Blott Road, North Jackson. Tickets are $20 and can be purchased at the door. Price includes food, beverage and entertainment. There also will be a basket auction and 50-50 raffle.
