TURKISH AIRLINES OPEN

ANTALAYA, TURKEY

Victor Dubuisson of France opened up a five-shot lead after the third round, while Tiger Woods kept himself in the mix despite three bogeys on the back nine. Dubuisson opened with four straight birdies and added five more in a bogey-free 9-under 63. He moved to 21-under 195 to distance himself from the field. Ian Poulter was alone in second after a 68, while Woods and Henrik Stensson were among four players sitting another shot back. Woods had three birdies on the front nine but then mixed three birdies with three bogeys in a six-hole stretch starting at the 11th. He finished with an improbable birdie on the 18th for a 68. Woods hurt his right hand when his club hit a tree at No. 11, but he said he wouldn’t need any treatment.

American Rickie Fowler and Australian David McKenzie were tied for second. Fowler had a 71, and will play alongside Scott in the final twosome Sunday. McKenzie shot 72. Japan’s Mamiko Higa, Yuki Ichinose and Shiho Oyama shared the second-round lead in the final tournament in the LPGA Tour’s five-event Asian swing. Higa and Ichinose shot 6-under 66 to match Oyama at 8 under at Kintetsu Kashikojima in the event also sanctioned by the Japan LPGA Tour. Oyama, the first-round leader, had her second straight 68. American Brittany Lincicome and Japan’s Asako Fujimoto were a stroke back. Lincicome had a 68, and Fujimoto shot 67. Defending champion Stacy Lewis was 5 under after a 68. The American overcame a seven-stroke deficit in the final round last year, birdieing the last three holes for a 64 and a one-shot victory.

LEGENDS TOUR OPEN

PALM HARBOR, FLA.

Laurie Rinker had two back-nine eagles and finished with a 6-under 67 to take a three-stroke lead after the first round. Rinker had a 9-foot eagle putt on the par-5 10th and a 20-footer on the par-5 15th. “Two eagles in one day is pretty exciting,” Rinker said. “The two eagles were the difference in getting it a little lower on the scoreboard. I think that’s a first in my career.”
