Heather Ann James and Alfred H. Davis III exchanged vows at 2:30 p.m. Sept. 14 at Butler North Chapel. The Rev. David Joachim officiated. A reception followed at the Butler Institute of American Art.
Her parents are Mr. and Mrs. Robin W. James Sr. of Berlin Center, and the groom’s parents are Mr. and Mrs. Alfred H. Davis Jr. of Boardman.
After a wedding trip to Aruba, the couple reside in Canfield.
The bride’s gown paired a sleeveless illusion lace bodice and soft shimmer satin skirt in a ball gown silhouette embellished with Swarovski crystals and finished with fabric-covered buttons.
Kimberly Speece was matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Emily Johnson; Jeanna James, the bride’s sister-in-law; Kathy Seitz; and Kelsey Crimmins and Clara Harvey, the groom’s cousins. The groom’s cousin Lucia Caruso was flower girl. The attendants wore black gowns.
The groom’s brothers, Kyle and Jay Davis, shared the duties of best man. Groomsmen were Rob James, the bride’s brother; Nick DeOnofrio; Jesse Potter; and Tim Maloney. Wesley James, the bride’s nephew, was ring bearer. Ushers were Justin Townsend and Ed Mathews.
The bride received a bachelor’s degree in biology from Youngstown State University and a master’s degree in physician assistant studies from the University of Mount Union.
Her husband received a bachelor’s degree in biology from Thiel College and a master’s degree in health science with a certificate in physician assistant studies from Cleveland State University.
