Coroner says abuse not likely in Howland boy’s death.

WARREN

The Trumbull County Coroner’s office has ruled the cause and manner of death for a 7-year-old boy found unresponsive in his High Street home in Howland “pending,” but it’s unlikely he died from abuse.

“There is a low index of suspicion for abuse,” Dr. Humphrey Germaniuk, coroner, said of the death of Cormaree Floyd.

A final cause and manner of death is pending further testing, such as toxicology and tissue analysis, and should be available in 30 to 45 days.

The boy had an “extensive medical history,” Dr. Germaniuk said.

The boy’s father, Corey Floyd, called 911 at 5:39 a.m. Friday, saying the boy was not breathing and may have suffered a seizure.

Corey Floyd was performing CPR on the boy as ambulance workers arrived. He was pronounced dead at St. Joseph Health Center.

Oh yeah... ALWAYS consider abuse as the first cause of a childs death! Even if there isn't a mark on them! People are such idiots these days. The parents are grieving over the loss of a child and the first thing they have to do is to wait to see if they are cleared from abusing their deceased child! ALL government workers are such rectums these days.
