YOUNGSTOWN

Among early voters in Youngstown, 16-year incumbent board of education member Lock Beachum, who is running as a write in candidate, is in dead last with 2 percent of the vote.

There are three seats up for grabs. Leading among early voters are Jackie Adair and Jerome Williams.

In a tight race for the third spot on the board, Ronald Shadd has 869 votes compatted to Hattie Wilkins with 842 votes.
