Melissa Jane Lindquist and Brad Edward Blakeman exchanged vows at 1:30 p.m. Aug. 3 at First Covenant Church. Ron Blakeman, the groom’s uncle, officiated. A reception followed at the Embassy in Struthers.
Her parents are Gordon and Irene Lindquist of Columbiana. The parents of the groom are Alice Chismar of North Lima and J.R. and Diana Blakeman of Salem.
The bride wore a strapless white gown with a ruffled skirt. The waist was adorned with pearls and rhinestones.
Michelle Francis, the bride’s sister, was matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Christina Tate; Kimberly Little; Whitney Gould; Amelia Wolf; Jessica Lindquist, the bride’s cousin; and Lindsay Blakeman, the groom’s sister-in-law. Junior bridesmaids were Kaitlyn Francis, the bride’s niece; and Lexus Blakeman, the groom’s niece. The flower girl was Alexa Tate.
The attendants wore begonia pink and clover green.
Chad Blakeman, the groom’s brother, was best man. Groomsmen were Mark and Michael Lindquist, the bride’s brothers; Scott Haskins; Rex Ewing; Chuck Francis, the bride’s brother-in-law; and Steve Chamberland. Junior groomsman was Ethan Francis, the bride’s nephew. The ring bearer was Jayce Blakeman, the groom’s nephew.
After a honeymoon in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic, the couple reside in New Springfield.
Mrs. Blakeman is a state-tested nursing assistant at Parkside Health Care Center, Columbiana, and a server at C’s Waffles in North Lima.
Her groom is a diesel mechanic for R&J Trucking in Boardman.
