Life will worsen as global warming continues, Nobel panel says

Published: Sat, November 2, 2013 @ 6:25 p.m.

Starvation, poverty, flooding, heat waves, droughts, war and disease already lead to human tragedies.

They're likely to worsen as the world warms from man-made climate change, a leaked draft of an international scientific report forecasts.

The Nobel Peace Prize-winning Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change will issue a report next March on how global warming is already affecting the way people live and what will happen in the future, including a worldwide drop in income.

A leaked copy of a draft of the summary of the report appeared online Friday on a climate skeptic's website.

Governments will spend the next few months making comments about the draft.

This is news? The Planet cannot support the current population growth; particularly among developing nations.

Global warming will increase wars?

How about extending the growing season in many parts of the world which would increase the food supply?

Is that possible? Use your imagination just like the warming alarmists.

The sky is falling! The sky is falling! They are just trying to scare us into spending money we don't have. The earth goes through cycles and you can't control Mother Nature.

Is this the same Nobel Peace Prize given to Yasar Arafat because he ostensibly agreed to reduce the rate at which he was killing babies?

Is this the same Nobel Peace prize given to Al Gore for making a whole lot of money by making a movie?

Is this the same Nobel Peace Prize given to Barack Obama for...........................doing nothing?

Jerry, you beat me to it. The Nobel Committee has zero credibility or standing, because they have lost their objectivity and have given themselves to politics and grandstanding.

This article, coming from them, is meaningless.

@JS - You're a genius!!!! It follows that if we all take up smoking, we can decrease our lung capacity and therefore reduce our carbon discharge.

Nobel Peace Prize committee is just a far left organization pushing socialism. It has had no credibility for at least the past three decades.
This report is meaningless.

How about all of that methane emitted by the belching bovines on cattle ranches?

With the price of natural gas at a low point, I guess it wouldn't pay to retrofit them with emission control devices.

Of course, the government doesn't care about cost effectiveness.
