BOOSTERS

Girard Band Boosters will meet at 7 p.m. Tuesday in the high school cafeteria.

McDonald Music Boosters will meet at 7 p.m. Monday at the high school.

CLASSES

Campbell Memorial High School January and June Classes of 1948 will meet for breakfast at 9:30 a.m. Monday at Denny’s Restaurant in Boardman. All classmates and spouses are invited.

Campbell Memorial High School January and June Classes of 1950 will meet at noon Wednesday at Bedford Trails Golf Course. The Christmas party will be discussed.

Campbell Memorial High School Class of 1955 will meet at 10 a.m. Saturday at What’s Cook’n in the Mathews Road Plaza in Boardman for its monthly breakfast. Class members, spouses and guests are welcome.

Woodrow Wilson High School Class of 1951 will meet for breakfast at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Landmark Restaurant, 7424 Market St., Boardman. Classmates and guests are invited.

CLUBS

College Club of Sharon will meet at 1 p.m. Nov. 9 in the Fellowship Hall of First Presbyterian Church in Sharon.

Warren Women’s Connection is sponsoring a luncheon from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Nov. 11 at DiLucia’s Banquet Room, 2610 Elm Road NE, Warren. The cost is $13 per person, and child care is free. On the agenda will be a live auction and homemade goodies sale. Mary Boling will speak on “Joy Through Journey,” and Karen Nicolli will sing. The cost is $13 per person, all inclusive. Youngstown Ski Club is sponsoring a wine taste and dinner dance from 7 to 11 p.m. Nov. 16 at Ciminero’s Banquet Center, 123 N. Main St., Niles. Boardman-Poland Junior Women’s League will meet at 7 p.m. Monday at Glenellen Assisted Living, 9661 Market St., Boardman. Cheryl Smaldino and Pam Ferguson are collecting lap blankets, nonperishable food items and gift cards to donate to area veterans. Nominations for the 2014-2015 club year will be finalized. LIBRARY FRIENDS

Friends of the Poland Library will meet at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday at the library, 211 S. Main St., for a coffee hour and meeting to follow. Hostesses will be Loretta Bodnark, Louise Martinko, Ruth Tower and Barbra Schrock. Karen Humeniuk and Patty Gardner will present a humorous program, “redesigning women.” Donations of books, magazines, CDs, and DVDs are accepted at all meetings for the book cart. Membership dues of $5 ($2 for seniors) are being collected. New members are welcome.

POLITICAL CLUBS

Warren Republican Women’s Club’s November luncheon meeting will take place at 11:30 a.m. Thursday at the Chophouse, 1 American Way, Howland, Sandra Young will speak on Veterans affairs. Everyone is welcome to attend with advance reservations to Cary Ann Koren at 330-856-5228.

RELIGIOUS GROUPS

Church Women United will meet at 10 a.m. Nov. 11 at Mill Creek Community Center. All women are invited.

Community Christian Women will meet at 12:30 p.m. Nov. 11 at First Christian Church in Columbiana. Marcy Patton will present “All Dolled Up” with lessons from her childhood. Those who attend are encouraged to take their favorite doll. Tickets will be $6. Reservations should be made with your church representative by Thursday. Kiwanis Club of Western Mahoning County meets each Wednesday at 6 p.m. at A La Cart Catering, 429 Lisbon St., Canfield. Guests are welcome. Members will prepare food baskets for the needy for Nov. 26.

D.A.R.E.
