BOARDMAN — A Boardman woman was arraigned Thursday on child endangering charges, accused of leaving her children at home alone.
Latoya Ramey, 29, of Applecrest Court is charged with two counts of endangering children.
Ramey is accused of leaving her children home alone while she was working on Oct. 29. Her shift was from 6 p.m. until 6 a.m. Oct. 30, but police advised her to come home, according to a police report, which did not reveal the children’s ages.
Ramey’s mother told police the children were left alone in the apartment while her daughter was at work. Ramey told police she left for work and believed her mother was going to come and watch the children. Her mother told police that claim was not true.
Children services took custody of the children.
Ramey was taken to the Mahoning County jail.
Her pretrial will be at 4 p.m. Nov. 21 in Boardman court.
