23 bouts set for K.O. semis

The 25th annual K.O. Drugs high school boxing tournament resumes Monday with semifinal action at St. Lucy’s Palermo Center.

Twenty-three bouts are scheduled, including 12 upperclass matchups. The field will be narrowed to 40 spots for the June 3 title fights.

“Our theme remains ‘win and you are in,’” founder Chuck Nelson said.

Doors open at 6 p.m. The first fight is at 7 p.m.
