“This was a great week for the girls in performance and effort.” said head coach Denise Gorski.
“At the McKinley meet they performed again as a total team to defeat a very good McKinley team. We finish the regular league season with a 2-4 record. We came close to a 3-3 season but lost to Perry by five points but certainly not without a tremendous effort. The East Canton Meet became our annual overnight trip as our earlier trip in April was cancelled due to snow. Twenty-five girls went on this trip and not only performed well, but were great to take overnight. We use these trips to develop more team camaraderie. Now it’s on to the heart of our season with the league championship and qualifying for state coming up in the next few weeks.”
