Division I

Warren Harding 6, Boardman 4

WARREN

The Raiders’ four-run second inning was the difference as they defeated the Spartans at Packard Park. Alexis Stano had three hits for Harding, which advances to a district semifinal on Tuesday at Fields of Dreams in Boardman. Melissa Maiorano doubled and tripled for Boardman, which outhit Harding, 13-9.

Division II

Cardinal Mooney 5, Niles 3

BOARDMAN

Kayla Lanzo and Nicolette Filo had clutch RBIs in the Cardinals four-run second inning. Filo, Jami Difabio and Angela Penza had two hits each. Marche’ Venable doubled. Penza struck out seven. Lawson and Quinton had two hits each for the Red Dragons. The eighth-seeded Cardinals advance to a sectional final against third-seeded West Branch at 4:30 today in Beloit.

Hubbard 4, Southeast 3

HUBBARD

Winning pitcher Julia Clemente (3-4-1) contributed three hits and scored twice for the Eagles (9-14). She struck out eight batters and walked one. Hubbard advances to today’s sectional final at Marlington. For Southeast, Maddie Willis tripled and Shelby Emsberger and Josie Wheeler doubled.

Lakeview 13, Salem 0

CORTLAND

Taylor Waid pitched a three-hitter and struck out seven and the Bulldogs’ Laura Innocenzi hit a three-run homer and a two-run double. Alyssa Nicholas had four hits and Hannah Petrosky had three for Lakeview, which will visit Poland today.

Struthers 12, Alliance 11,

STRUTHERS

Ashley Hefferon went 4 for 6 with two singles, two doubles and three RBIs, including the winning run. Dana Wilkos had two hits, including a single and a two-run home run.She had three RBIs. Celeste Cavanaugh, Preshus Brown and Jess Ditman each had two hits. Cavanaugh had two RBIs. Brown and Ditman each had 1. Harris had three hits including a single, triple, and a home run for Alliance, while Daniels, Cuelhar, and Stevens each added two hits.

Regular season

South Range 1, Canfield 0

BEAVER TOWNSHIP

Winning pitcher Carly DeRose (15-1) scored the game’s only run on Jordan Youngs’ single in the first inning. DeRose and Yanked combined to toss a two-hitter while Lexy Naples had two hits for the Raiders (23-2). For the Cardinals (12-7), Kayley Keller and Alexa Schmidt had hits.

Jackson-Milton 1, Champion 0

NORTH JACKSON

Caitlyn Carney homered for the Bluejays (19-8). Winning pitcher Paije Kiraly (19-8) scattered four hits for the shutout. For the Golden Flashes (12-10-1), Leanne Brown had two singles.

Mathews 9, Lordstown 0

VIENNA

Jacki Rhine’s two hits included a two-run homer. She scored twice and drove in three runs for the Mustangs (19-6, 16-1 Northeastern Athletic Conference). Maddi Grimes doubled while winning pitcher Cheyenne Eggens tossed a three-hit shutout. For the Red Devils (10-8, 8-8), Alyssa Sterle doubled and Sami Heverly and Kansas Lickwar singled.

Ursuline 7, LaBrae 5

BAZETTA

Macey Gunther hit a solo home run and Stephanie Ohalek had a two-run double as the Irish (17-8) outlasted the Vikings (14-7) at Candlelite Knolls. Anny Carroll also had two singles for Ursuline. Kasey Rininger had three hits and two RBIs for LaBrae.
