TV moms who shared our Mother's Days
To celebrate Mother’s Day, let’s take a look at some TV moms with whom we marked the most Mother’s Days together:
v 24 seasons: Marge Simpson, “The Simpsons” (1989-present). Isn’t it amazing how our blue-haired, beehived fave never gets old?
v 14 seasons: Harriet Nelson, “The Adventures of Ozzie and Harriet” (1952-66). The former big- band vocalist played a version of her real self, mother of Ricky and David, wife of Ozzie.
v 12 seasons: Lucy Carter/Lucy Carmichael (Lucille Ball), “The Lucy Show”/“Here’s Lucy” (1962-74). In her first show after “I Love Lucy,” Ball played a widow with two children. When the show’s title changed in 1968, Ball’s real-life offspring, Desi Arnaz Jr. and Lucie Arnaz, replaced the actors playing the original kids.
v 11 seasons: Marion Cunningham (Marion Ross), “Happy Days” (1974-1984). The tireless “Mrs. C” — mom to Richie, Joanie and the little-seen Chuck — was the only character on the show who called Fonzie by his real name, Arthur.
v 10 seasons: Edith Bunker (Jean Stapleton), “All in the Family” (1971-80). Even her meathead son-in-law called her “Mom.”
“Survivor: CARAMOAN — FANS VS. FAVORITES” (8 P.M., CBS): “Caramoan” comes to an end tonight and you know what that means: The person with the fewest knives in his/her back wins a million bucks.
“Once Upon a Time” (8 p.m., ABC): In the second season finale, the magical town of Storybrooke is on the verge of imploding.
“Revenge” (9 p.m., ABC): Season 2 wraps up with an episode crammed with dangerous events and “shocking” twists.
