Austintown Senior Center, 100 Westchester Drive, has planned the following: Monday, open exercise and breakfast at 8 a.m., monthly membership meeting at 9:30, bingo at 10, painting class and beginner computer class at 10:15, OSHIP social worker at 11:30 and advanced computer class at noon; Tuesday, open exercise and trip to Holden Arboretum at 8 a.m., Vets Helping Vets and bingo at 10, bridge club at 10:30, Drums Alive at 11 and 20/9 Radio Club meeting at 7 p.m.; Wednesday, open exercise at 8 a.m., bingo at 10, jewelry-making class at 11:30, pizza party ($3) at noon and movie matinee, “Sabrina,” at 12:30 p.m.; Thursday, wood carving at 9 a.m., yoga at 9:15, SOS at 9:30, intermediate computer class at 10:15, beginner crochet at 11, Bible study at noon and A La Cart dinner and bingo at 5 p.m.; and Friday, open exercise at 8 a.m., trip to Rogers flea market at 9, and bingo and discussion group at 10. Champion S.C.O.P.E. Senior Center, 445 Mahoning Ave., has planned the following: Monday, breakfast at 10:30 a.m. ($5 for members and $6.50 for nonmembers) and Dr. John Mistretta will speak about peak performance afterward; May 20, Garvin McCorkle will speak on nutrition; May 29, Brenda Cook will do blood work and finger sticks; and June 5, Casino bus trip. Guardian Angels of Ohio, a volunteer program of the Trumbull County Probate Court, is looking for new volunteers. Angel volunteers receive training to become advocates who reach out as friends to seniors who may need a friendly phone call, a visit in a nursing home or a visit at home. Angels are also involved in planning special events for seniors such as health fairs and Make a Difference day projects. The next meeting will take place at 5:30 p.m. June 4 at Perkins Family Restaurant, 1953 Niles-Cortland Road SE. For information contact 330-675-2521 or go to www.trumbullprobate.org.

Niles S.C.O.P.E. Senior Center, 14 E. State St., has planned the following: Thursday, a free Lunch ’n Learn program with lunch at 11:30 a.m. and the program at noon. The presenter will be Dave Miller, adviser at Mill Creek Park’s Fellows Riverside Gardens. Participants are encouraged to take orchids for advice and/or re-potting. All are welcome. Although the program is free, preregistration is requested by calling the center at 330-544-3676 or stop in to sign up.

Warren S.C.O.P.E. Center, 220 W. Market St., Warren, has planned the following: Seniors are welcome between 11:30 a.m. and 12:15 p.m. Mondays for lunch ($2 to $3.50). A program will follow. Monday, the speaker will be Jonathan LaCrosse of Ohio PUCO on “Saving Utility Dollars”; May 20, Dave Gatesman of Gatesman Financial will speak on “Social Security Benefits, Estate Planning and Retirement Living”; and June 3, Linda Tominey, BSN, CBE and Diabetes RN Director for Trumbull Memorial Hospital, will speak about “Living Healthy with Diabetes.”
