Two arrested during Warren drug raid
The Trumbull Ashtabula Group Law Enforcement Task Force and two other agencies arrested Ronndle L. Lightning, 35, of 2517 Hamilton St. SW, and Tashi Johnson, 25, of Lener Avenue Southwest, on Friday after conducting a one-month drug investigation.
TAG, along with the Warren Police Department and Trumbull County Sheriff’s Office, served a search warrant at 9:30 a.m. at the Hamilton Street address, seizing crack cocaine, heroin, marijuana, prescription pills, prescription cough medicine, digital scales, packaging materials, $2,676 in cash and three flat-screen televisions.
Lightning and Johnson were arraigned Friday in Warren Municipal Court and later were released from the Trumbull County jail after posting $2,500 bond each. Lightning has a lengthy criminal record in Warren Municipal Court and was last sentenced to prison in Trumbull County Common Pleas Court in 2008, getting six months on a cocaine-possession charge.
An innocent plea was entered for Lightning to two counts of felony drug possession and one count of aggravated drug possession. An innocent plea was entered for Johnson to felony drug possession.
Four males, two females and two children were present at the time of the raid. Charges are pending against at least two other people, TAG said. There also were six pit bulls in the residence. They were not properly licensed and were removed from the home by Warren and Trumbull County dog wardens.
