This spring is the first season for the Canfield Lacrosse Club.
Canfield Lacrosse is a club sport that travels. Players are responsible for their own expenses through parents and fundraising. One of the current fundraisers is offering summer clinics. The hope is to raise funds and awareness.
Lacrosse is the oldest American sport, invented by Native Americans. It is a mix of the physicality of football, the endurance of soccer and the concepts of basketball and hockey.
The team has been playing since October and have made great improvement due to the dedication of the players and the coaching of Ryan Farr and Tom Trefethern.
The team’s schedule can be found at www.ohsla.org. For any information or questions, contact Farr at firstname.lastname@example.org.
