Liberty 11, East 1

LIBERTY

Michael Moamis scattered five hits and struck out nine and the Leopards collected 17 hits in a six-inning, non-conference victory. Nick Byce, Tyler Evans, Justin House, Eric Weimer and Moamis each had two hits for Liberty (6-6). Jeremy Woodberry had two hits for winless East (0-9).

LaBrae 4, Girard 1

LEAVITTSBURG

Jake Kaschak, Peyton Aldridge, Collin Phillips and Nick Hendryx each had a RBI for the Vikings (9-5, 6-2 AAC National). Winning pitcher Aldridge (3-1) struck out 14 and walked three. For the Indians (6-13, 4-5), Jim Standohar had two of their four hits.

Western Reserve 15, Southern 0

BERLIN CENTER

Parker Clegg hit an inside-the-park homer and tripled to drive in four runs for the Blue Devils (9-5, 8-3 ITCL Tier Two). Walker Marlowe and Jon Timko each drove in two runs, Jacob Clark doubled and winning pitcher Tristan Bova (2-3) had two hits. Bova struck out 13 and walked none in the five-inning game.

McDonald 18, Lisbon 6

MCDONALD

Mike Raschilla’s three hits included a homer and double for McDonald (11-3). Raschilla drove in five runs and scored three times. Christian Rusinowski’s four hits included two doubles and he scored three times and drove in three runs. Tommy Rebraca had three hits and scored twice.

Springfield 6, Jackson-Milton 5

BEAVER TOWNSHIP

The Tigers built a 4-0 lead, but the Bluejays eventually tied the game at 5 with two runs in the fifth and three in the sixth. But Springfield (12-4, 9-2 ITCL Tier One) loaded the bases with no outs in the seventh. Ian Grdina walked and stole second. Cody Pitzo reached on an infield single and Eoghan Bees laid down a bunt that went for an error to load the bases. Ryan Kohler followed with a run-scoring single to win it. Kohler had three hits, Pitzo had two and Dalton Donachie and Joe Wrask each drove in two runs for the Tigers. Adam Jefferies and Jeremy Fitzpatrick each had two hits for Jackson-Milton. Nick Woloschak drove in two runs for the Bluejays.

Poland 11, West Branch 6

BELOIT

The Warriors took a 6-2 lead into the seventh inning, but the Bulldogs scored nine runs in the inning and eventually won the game. Ricky Svetlak went 4 for 5 for Poland (9-7), Austin Beil had three hits, including a double and triple, and Chris Elliot and Nick Andrews each had two hits. Ryan Adams and Kip DeShields each had two hits and Chipper Tuck had two RBIs for West Branch (8-10).

Mathews 12, Bloomfield 1

VIENNA

Jeremy Forsythe tripled and doubled to drive in two runs for the Mustangs (12-2, 9-0 Northeastern Athletic Conference). Aaron Suchanek had three hits whole Nate Homan had two. Rob Helmick, Cobie Pratt and Angelo Freed each drove in two runs. Winning pitcher Matt Harries struck out six and walked none.
