AAC superintendents approve expansion

Published: Wed, May 1, 2013 @ 7:07 p.m.

The All-American Conference is about to receive a major facelift.

League superintendents on Wednesday voted to expand the conference by adding six additional schools. They are Boardman, Warren Harding, East, Brookfield, Ashtabula Edgewood and Pymatuning Valley.

League commissioner Rick King noted that officially, the AAC only voted to invite the six schools. However, since each of the schools have already applied to join the league, the invitation appears to be nothing more than a formality.
