Report: Boldon to leave YSU for Ohio University

Published: Thu, March 28, 2013 @ 11:44 a.m.

Youngstown State women's basketball coach Bob Boldon will be named head women's basketball coach at Ohio University today, WFMJ-TV is reporting.

Boldon went 23-10 with YSU this season, leading the Penguins to their best record since 1999-2000. He was named Horizon League coach of the year.

A spokesman for the Bobcats said he could "neither confirm nor deny" Boldon's hiring.

I wish the $70K spent on the CIT were spent on Boldon instead. Boldon started something great, and now I fear that it will fall apart.
