Report: Boldon to leave YSU for Ohio University

Published: Thu, March 28, 2013 @ 11:44 a.m.

Youngstown State women's basketball coach Bob Boldon will be named head women's basketball coach at Ohio University today, WFMJ-TV is reporting.

Boldon went 23-10 with YSU this season, leading the Penguins to their best record since 1999-2000. He was named Horizon League coach of the year.

A spokesman for the Bobcats said he could "neither confirm nor deny" Boldon's hiring.

We are like the step child of divisions in the NCAA. We either lose talent to upper division or get upper division players who either flunk out, lose their starting position or get booted off their team.
