St. Joseph the Provider School in Youngstown will sponsor its annual basket auction and buffet dinner April 5 at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Social Hall, 343 Via Mount Carmel. The dinner consists of pasta and meatballs, chicken, sausage and peppers, salad, vegetable, potato, soft drinks, coffee and tea. There will be a cash bar, prizes and gift baskets. Leetonia Artisans Festival Committee will begin registering exhibitors for the 28th annual Artisans festival set for 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sept. 22 at Wick Park. Civil War Round Table is conducting a Gettysburg National Military Park Battlefield tour April 26 through 28. Rangers will guide the tour through the wheat field, peach orchard, Devil’s Den and Culp’s Hill. Cost is $10 for the services of the rangers and to buy a wreath to place at the monument of the Sixth Ohio Cavalry. Those interested need to find your own transportation to Gettysburg and reserve and pay for your hotel accommodations and food.
