Today’s entertainment picks:

v St. Patrick’s Day: Support a greener environment by attending the mega-parties at O’Donold’s in Austintown, Federal Street in downtown Youngstown, McMenamy’s in Niles, Quaker Steak and Lube in Sharon, Pa., and about a hundred other places.

v Swizzle Stick Day, noon to 4 p.m.: Tour Daffin’s chocolate factory, sample some sweets, and maybe find out exactly what a swizzle stick is. Daffin’s is at 7 Spearman St., Farrell, Pa.; 330-342-2892

“Girls” (9 p.m., HBO): It’s crunch time for Hannah (Lena Dunham) in the Season 2 finale of “Girls.” She has to finish her novel in just one day, or risk being sued by her publisher.

“The Walking Dead” (9 p.m., AMC): On “The Walking Dead,” the Governor (David Morrissey) leaves Woodbury to chase down a deserter. While he’s gone, a traitor tries to sabotage his evil master plan.

“All-Star Celebrity Apprentice” (9 p.m., NBC): Daytime TV stars Susan Lucci (“All My Children”) and Jack Wagner (“General Hospital,” “The Bold and the Beautiful”) drop by “All-Star Celebrity Apprentice” to oversee a challenge in which the contestants must stage a soap-opera scene.

Blake Shelton at First Niagara


Country-music superstar Blake Shelton, with special guests Easton Corbin and Jana Kramer, will come to First Niagara Pavilion for a 7 p.m. concert Aug. 2.

Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Saturday at live-nation.com, all Ticketmaster outlets and by phone at 800-745-3000. Prices are $54.75 and $39.75, reserved pavilion; and $25, lawn.

Shelton is the CMA’s Entertainer of the Year and a star of NBC’s hit show “The Voice.” His next album, “Based On A True Story ...,” is set for release March 26.

Toby Keith concert coming to Blossom


Country-music superstar Toby Keith will come to Blossom Music Center July 19 with special guest Kip Moore. Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Saturday at live-nation.com, all Ticketmaster outlets and by phone at 800-745-3000.
