Youngstown Christian eliminated by VASJ

— A spirited tournament run by the Youngstown Christian boys basketball team ended in a Division IV regional final Friday night, when the Eagles fell to Cleveland Villa Angela-St. Joseph, 86-50, at the Canton Memorial Fieldhouse.

Youngstown Christian (16-9) was the eighth seed at the Struthers district, but won the tournament there and then beat Hannibal River, 60-49, in a regional semifinal Tuesday night in Canton.
