Portion of Elm Street in Youngstown closed for bridge replacement

YOUNGSTOWN — Elm Street, between Saranac Avenue and Tod Lane, will be closed through mid-November for a bridge replacement. The road will detour to Gypsy Lane, Fifth Avenue and Broadway Street. This work is part of a $2.3 million project by the Ohio Department of Transportation. It is scheduled for completion by November, said Justin Chesnic, an ODOT spokesman.
