NEW YORK
Heartland liberal Ed Schultz is losing his prime-time show on MSNBC. The cable network says Schultz is being moved to the weekends, to host two-hour shows Saturday and Sunday at 5 p.m. Union advocate Schultz, whose nightly show preceded Rachel Maddow, has increasingly seemed out of place in MSNBC’s bookishly liberal lineup.
Schultz will be replaced weeknights by Chris Hayes.
