Youngstown Christian defeats Hannibal River

The Youngstown Christian boys basketball team is within one victory of a Division IV state tournament appearance after a 60-49 victory over Hannibal River tonight at the Canton Memorial Fieldhouse.

Youngstown Christian (16-8) pulled away from Hannibal River in the fourth quarter. The Eagles had trailed, 29-23, at halftime.

Youngstown Christian will meet the winner of tonight's other semifinal between Cleveland VASJ and Windham in a regional final at 7:30 p.m. Friday at the Canton Memorial Fieldhouse.
