Driver of SUV in deadly crash didn’t have a valid license, patrol says

The 19-year-old woman behind the wheel of an allegedly stolen SUV when it crashed into a pond, killing six friends, didn’t have a valid driver’s license, according to a report on the crash released Tuesday.

The Ohio State Highway Patrol report also said the teens who escaped told investigators the driver, Alexis Cayson, was driving recklessly and one said she sped up as she rounded what’s known as “Dead Man’s Curve.”

Cayson was among those killed along with five boys. Two passengers survived.

The car was reported stolen on Monday, more than a day after the crash. It wasn’t clear if the passengers knew the car was stolen.

I hear this all day long when watch all the judge programs and reality shows on TV. I don't needs a valid drivers license to drive. I knows how to drive. This is the mentality of the upcoming generations that will replace all the normal citizens that follow the rules.Oh that right do not pick on the poor people because they can not afford drivers training when they are young, but what about the adults. Pure disrespect for the laws of this country.

The car was reported stolen on Monday more then a day after the crash. Come on people if this doesn't sound like a pile horse crap nothing does. The owner of that suv must think the people in this valley are stupid to think we believe he or she didn't know where the suv was that night.

Driving laws must change. A drivers license is a privilege ......not a God given
right. These punks should only get a 6 month renewable probationary license until thry are 22. U screw up...no renewal. And under age of 22...no passengers aloud in the car with the driver. Change the law! Get tough so these punks understand...you have to grow up to earn privledges...people are sick of all the trouble these disposible punks make and things they think they are owed. Punks are owed nothing when it comes to driving a car.
