Wilmington Township Civic League will sponsor a quilt show from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday at Wilmington Township-Mercer County Municipal Building, 35 Auction Road, New Wilmington, Pa. Mary Neitzel’s quilts will be featured. Admission is $2, and refreshments will be available. Some quilts will be for sale. A Log Cabin quilt will be raffled at the annual garage sale May 18. Shrine of Our Lady Comforter of the Afflicted, 517 S. Belle Vista Ave., Youngstown, is selling tickets for an Easter basket raffle and 50-50 drawing. West Side Cats is preparing for its second annual motorcycle poker run July 31 at Austintown Park. Civil War Round Table is conducting a Gettysburg National Military Park Battlefield tour April 26 through 28. Rangers will guide the tour through the wheat field, peach orchard, Devil’s Den and Culp’s Hill. Cost is $10 donation for the services of the rangers and to buy a wreath to place at the monument of the Sixth Ohio Cavalry. Those interested need to find your own transportation to Gettysburg and reserve and pay for your hotel accommodations and food. Group accommodations are available at Days Inn, 865 York Road, U.S. Route 30, Gettysburg; room rates will be $69 plus 11 percent tax. Each room includes two queen beds. Mineral Ridge Alumni Association Banquet Committee is sponsoring a bus trip to Rivers Casino April 11. Proceeds will help defray the cost of the June 22 alumni banquet, which will be at the Fifth Season Banquet Center in Mineral Ridge because of the high school construction.
