Women of Civil War will be featured
In recognition of Women’s History Month, Traci Manning , the Mahoning Valley Historical Society’s curator of education, will present “UnCaged — Extraordinary Women of the American Civil War” at 7 p.m. Tuesday.
This free presentation will be at the Tyler Mahoning Valley History Center, 325 W. Federal St. Parking is available adjacent to the building.
This hour-long presentation will feature photographs, quotes and the voices of these women.

Library to offer series of storytimes
Pajama Storytime will be at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday at East Palestine Memorial Public Library, 309 N. Market St.
The program will feature stories about spring.
Children are invited to wear their pajamas and take a stuffed animal.
Babytime, a storytime for children 6 months to 2 years and their parent or caregiver will be at 10:30 a.m. on the following Wednesdays: March 13 and 27 and April 10 and 24.
Parents or caregivers can participate in the sharing of books, rhymes and songs with their baby.
Registration is necessary.

Altrusa Club to sponsor night of entertainment
Altrusa Club is sponsoring a benefit from 6 to 9 p.m. Thursday at Magic Tree Pub & Eatery, 7463 South Ave.
Colleen McNally Harris and Harper Kirk will entertain, and there will be six tastes of wine or beer and light appetizers.
There also will be a cash bar and full menu available, a 50-50 raffle, bag auction and Irish fun.
Altrusa Club is an international association of professional women who encourage volunteering and service with emphasis on literacy.
