YOUNGSTOWN

Traci Manning, curator of education of the Mahoning Valley Historical Society, will present a free lecture titled “Uncaged — Extraordinary Women of the American Civil War” at 7 p.m. Tuesday at the Tyler History Center, 325 W. Federal St., downtown Youngstown. Manning’s hourlong talk will describe the women who shattered social norms and gender spheres during the war, a time when women did not have the right to vote.
