LIBERTY — Township police arrested two men believed to be responsible for a string of ATM customer robberies in several jurisdictions, including Liberty and Youngstown.
The two men were apprehended late Thursday night after a foot chase and search involving police dogs. Police Chief Rich Tisone said the two men had just robbed a woman making a withdrawal from an ATM along Belmont Avenue with her small child in the back seat. Two guns were pointed at the woman as the thieves demanded money.
Tisone said he believes the men are responsible for several similar township robberies in the township.
Police Chief Rod Foley of Youngstown said he believes the two men are the same two responsible for at least three similar robberies at ATMs in the city. Foley said the clothing and other aspects of the Youngstown crimes are identical to the Liberty robbery.

Not named until charged?
Is there something in our local water that makes our criminals more stupid than others?
Question is there something with our law enforcement that keeps processing the same people over and over because Thugstown is safe haven for cockroaches with no fear of strict sentencing at all. Lets see what the time is for a gun specification?? I bet no time!! Hell we give murderers only 12 years.
