Cache of explosives found at Pa. storage facility

Published: Fri, March 8, 2013 @ 1:20 p.m.

MALVERN, Pa. (AP) — The FBI says a large cache of explosives has been found at a storage facility in Chester County.

Authorities say the explosives were found in two lockers at a Public Storage Facility in the Philadelphia suburb of Malvern on Thursday. FBI spokeswoman Carrie Adamowski would not say how much explosive material was found, but said it was a “significant amount.”

The material was found in two lockers at the facility. The material has been safely removed.

It wasn’t immediately clear what initially led investigators to the storage facility.
