Published: Thu, March 7, 2013 @ 11:16 p.m.

WARREN

Warren police and

Trumbull County Children Services were called to Warren City Schools’ Jefferson K-8 building on Tod Avenue Southwest early Thursday to investigate a child-abuse case.

A Warren police detective said the boy had physical injuries, but he was unable to say whether the child went to the hospital. The injuries occurred before the child came to school.

Criminal charges in the case are likely after consultation with a prosecutor, police said.
