Kendrick Perry out for YSU tournament opener

Published: Tue, March 5, 2013 @ 6:01 p.m.

Youngstown State junior guard Kendrick Perry will miss his fourth straight game with a left knee injury as the Penguins play Loyola Tuesday night in the opener of the Horizon League tournament at Beeghly Center.

YSU is 1-2 without Perry, the team's leading scorer and a first-team all-Horizon League selection. The Penguins won both meetings against Loyola this season but it was by a combined three points.
