YSU football adds former Kansas coach Mangino

Former Kansas coach Mark Mangino will serve as tight ends coach, assistant head coach and recruiting coordinator at Youngstown State.

Mangino, a YSU graduate, coached under Bill Narduzzi and Jim Tressel at Youngstown State from 1985-86. The New Castle, Pa., native was the head coach at Kansas from 2002-09, advancing to four bowl games.

With Wolford's ego being so large, is there room for another big time coach? I think papa is right. I think we should try and get Tressel back after Wolford leaves. We shouldn't have to go another decade without a winning competitive program. Maybe Tressel can get YSU in the MAC so we will not have to play schools that fans can not attend and support these players.
