Imbibe Martini Bar is celebrating its eighth anniversary with the launch of a new line of martinis.

Imbibe opened in downtown Youngstown on June 18, 2005, and the owners of the company also are opening a second bar on the second floor of the same building at 124 W. Federal St.

Technology program


Trumbull County Technical and Career Center’s Adult Training Center is offering a 720-hour software technology program for potential full-time students.

This course features hands-on use of the latest technology employed in the workplace. Included in the cost of the program are an iPad 2 and the QuickBooks and Microsoft Office Specialist Certification Exam Fees.

All classes are Monday through Thursday from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. The program begins Sept. 3.

Business workshop


The Youngstown SCORE organization is presenting a workshop on improving small businesses at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday.

The focus will be on finding customers, marketing, social media and new marketing strategies for business plans.

The workshop is at the Leetonia Community Public Library, and registration is preferred. Call 330-427-6635 to register.

Needlework shop to mark anniversary


Area needlework shop “With Needle in Hand” will start its anniversary celebration June 24, and it continues until July 31. The store has been open for one year.

The store is at 7330 Southern Boulevard, Suite 5, just south of the intersection of Route 224 and Southern Boulevard in Boardman.

Time Warner adds sports programming


Time Warner Cable Business Class has added more sports programming for customers in Ohio.

The company’s Time Warner Cable SportsChannel, which offers a wide variety of high school and college matchups, as well as other sporting events from across the Buckeye State, is now available on channels 1311 in high definition and 311.

Time Warner Cable SportsChannel is included in the TWCBC Bar & Restaurant Package and the Deluxe Cable TV Package for TWCBC customers in Ohio.
