A federal grand jury has indicted a Youngstown man on charges he produced, distributed and received child pornography and permitted minors to engage in sexually explicit behavior to produce it.

Christopher Cavna, 26, was indicted Wednesday on charges he knowingly received and distributed numerous computer files containing images of minors engaged in sexually explicit conduct between October 2011 and October 2012.

He also is charged with knowingly permitting two minors to engage in sexually explicit conduct on May 19 and 20, 2013, for the production of such images and with distributing such computer images May 20.

The case was investigated by the Youngstown FBI office, the Mahoning Valley Violent Crimes Task Force and the Ohio Adult Parole Authority.
