Lists of vacation Bible schools open to the public will run on the Religion page. Please include the following information: the complete name of the church; address with city or township; time, date and location of sessions; program theme; ages or grades; and whether it’s free or there is a fee. Information should be submitted two weeks before the school’s opening or its registration deadline. For verification, include a name and phone number of a contact person, which will not be published.

Who: Bethel Church of the Brethren

What: “God’s Backyard Bible Camp.”

When: 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. July 8-12.

Where: Church, 4023 E. Calla Road, New Middletown.

Details: The program for 3- to 18-year-olds includes Bible stories, music, recreation, skits, crafts and snacks. Registration will be the first day. Call 330-542-3750.

Who: Gospel Temple Baptist Church

What: “Growing Good Fruit.”

When: 5:30 to 8 p.m. July 15-19.

Where: Church, 279 Whipple Ave, Campbell.

Details: The free program is for 3-year-olds through sixth graders. Crafts, games and music are included. Dinner will be served daily. Transportation is available for Campbell residents. Registration deadline is July 7. Call the church at 330-755-3130.

Who: Heritage Baptist Church.

What: “Kingdom Chronicles.”

When: 6 to 8 p.m. Monday through Thursday.

Where: Church, state Route 14, Salem.

Details: The program is free. Call 330-314-6825.

Who: Rising Star Baptist Church.

What: “A Jesus Family Reunion.”

When: 6 to 8 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Where: Church, 2943 Wardle Ave., Youngstown.

Details: Registration will be at 5:30. Classes are for 3-year-olds to seniors. Children younger than 12 must be registered by a parent or guardian.

Who: St. Patrick Church.

What: “Sky.”

When: 5 to 8 p.m. July 15-19.

Where: Church, 1420 Oak Hill Ave., Youngstown.

Details: Program is for pre-kindergarten through grade six. There will be Bible activities, music, games and science. A mission will focus on eliminating malaria in Mali. Dinner will begin the program. There are classes for teens and adults. Registration required. Call Kris Harper, 330-743-1109.
