Drunken driving checkpoint starts tonight on Market Street

A federally funded drunken driving checkpoint will be from 10 p.m. today until 2 a.m. Saturday on Market Street north of Midlothian Boulevard, the Ohio State Highway Patrol has announced.

City police and Mahoning County sheriff’s deputies will also participate, the patrol said, adding that simultaneous anti-drunken-driving saturation patrols will be conducted in neighborhoods near the checkpoint.
