AUXILIARIES

Sulmona Valley Auxiliary will meet at noon Tuesday at Bedford Trails in Coitsville. Jane Orlo is hostess. Sandra Redeske will preside, and plans for the July picnic will be discussed. Members are asked to make reservations.

CLUBS

Warren Women’s Connection is planning a luncheon from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. July 8 at DiLucia’s Banquet Room, 2610 Elm Road NE, Warren. The cost is $13 each. Child care is free. The special feature will be Crafters Delight, and special music will be provided by Dan Barker. The inspirational speaker will be Mary Haddad on “Survival and Success, Search for Significance.” Call for reservations by July 3 at 330-539-5837 or 330-638-6508.

GUILDS

ASG-Southington So Sews will meet at 9:30 a.m. at Southington Christian Church, state Route 534. There will be a yo-yo cardinals demonstration by Dot Porter. For information call Jennie Roberts at 330-847-7386.

HISTORICAL SOCIETIES

Lake Milton Historical Society will have its monthly meeting at 11 a.m. Thursday at Halliday’s Winery, 2400 NE River Road, Lake Milton.

POLITICAL CLUBS

Girard Men’s Democratic Club will meet at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Parkwood Youth Center, Lamancusa Hall.

RELIGIOUS GROUPS

St. Rose Quilting Group will meet at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the parish house.

Youngstown South Women’s Connection will meet for a luncheon from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. July 10 at Avion on the Water Banquet Center, 2177 W. Western Reserve Road, Canfield. The program will feature Pampered Chef by Phyllis Echement, and music will be provided by Rita Busin. The guest speaker will be Mary Haddad from Michigan on “Survival and Success in the Search for Significance.” Cost is $13 each, and reservations are due July 3. Greenford Ruritan Club’s monthly meeting will take place at 7 p.m. Monday at the Locust Grove Baptist Church, 12015 Washingtonville Road, Salem. This is father/daughter night; all members are encouraged to take a guest.

SINGLES

D.A.R.E. Singles Group meets at 7:30 p.m. each Thursday at Disciples Christian Church, 565 Boardman-Canfield Road. Other activities scheduled are as follows: Saturday, meet at the church at 10 a.m. for road trip to McConnells Mill State Park; Monday, walking or biking at 6 p.m. at trail on Kirk Road in Canfield; Tuesday, play boccie at 6 p.m. in Boardman Park; Wednesday, golf at 6 p.m. at the short holes at Mil Creek Park; Thursday, meet at 6:30 p.m. for music in Boardman Park; and June 28, miniature golf at 7 p.m. at Sports World, Boardman.

SUPPORT GROUPS

All Care Hospice Grief Support Group will meet at from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Pembrooke Place, 850 E. Midlothian Blvd., Youngstown.

Alzheimer’s Association Caregiver Support Group will meet at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at Canfield United Methodist Church, 27 S. Broad St. For information call 330-650-0552 or 800-272-3900.

F.O.C.U.S. Breast-Cancer Survivors will meet at 6 p.m. Wednesday at Davidson’s Restaurant, 3636 Canfield Road, Cornersburg. All are welcome.

Nar-Anon, a 12-step program for relatives and friends who have been adversely affected by a loved one’s addiction to drugs, meets at 7 p.m. every Friday at the Neil Kennedy Recovery Clinic, 160 Clifton NE, Howland. For information call 330 856-3822.

Ostomy Support Group will meet at 2 p.m. Sunday at UPMC Horizon, Greenville, Pa., campus.

Survivors of Suicide in Columbiana County will meet at 6 p.m. Thursday at Columbiana County Counseling Center, 40722 state Route 154, Lisbon. This support group is for families who have lost a loved one to suicide. For information call Help Hotline Crisis Center at 330-424-7767.

TOPS 327 will meet Monday at Christ Church Presbyterian, 1933 Canfield Road, Boardman. Weigh-in is from 6:15 to 6:45 p.m. followed by the meeting at 7. The first meeting is free. Guests are welcome. For information call 330-793-4378 or 330-779-0144.

TOPS 822, Struthers, will meet Tuesday at Struthers Parkside Church, 110 Poland Ave. Weigh-in will be from 6 to 6:30 p.m. before the meeting.

TOPS 1237, Austintown, will meet Thursday at Idaho Road Alliance Church, 250 Idaho Road, across from Frank Ohl Middle School. Weigh-in is from 5 to 5:30 p.m. followed by the meeting until 6:30. For information call 330-758-4923.

TOPS 1262, McDonald, meets Wednesday in the community room at the post office building. Weigh-in is from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m.; the meeting will follow. New members are welcome.

TOPS 1497, Austintown, will meet from 9:30 to 11 a.m. Thursday at Smith Corners United Methodist Church, 3000 S. Canfield-Niles Road. New members are welcome; the first meeting is free. For information call 330-507-3126.
