Simon Roofing has announced the promotion of Michael Mills to vice president of regional accounts and Tony Petergal to vice president of production.


Kent State University’s College of Business Administration has maintained its business and accounting accreditations from the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business.


National College recently recognized the following employees and instructors:

Robinette Cotton and Samantha Brown were recognized as outstanding employees of the year for their service and dedication to the Youngstown campus.

Jamie Jackson was presented the Career Center Director President’s Award and the Career Center Director of the Year Award for achieving the highest graduate job-placement rate in the Ohio division over the course of the previous academic year.

Brown, Stephanie McElfresh and Jessica Knez were presented the Student Services Team of the Year Award for achieving the highest performance in the Ohio division over the course of the previous academic year.

Michael Boyle was presented the Campus Director of the Year Award. The award is presented to the campus director who best manages the performance of all campus functional areas over the course of the academic year.


Sharon Regional Health System has appointed Sandra Frazzini, RN, BSN, MBA as Sharon Regional’s new director of performance improvement. Frazzini will be responsible for facilitating continuous improvement initiatives in the areas of inpatient and outpatient quality reporting, core measures, hospital quality blue and patient satisfaction.

Pecchia Communications has added Eric Hamilton, former editor of The Vindicator’s Neighbors weekly, as a consultant.


Keynote Media Group has named Lisa Vantell the marketing and branding firm’s chief operating officer. In addition to continuing in her role as production director, Vantell oversees Keynote’s day-to-day operations.

The company also announced the following promotions:

Jessica Winters has been elevated to the role of agency account coordinator.

Christopher Anthony has been named manager of the firm’s multimedia division where he will coordinate all video, design and Web development projects.

Emily Russo has joined Keynote’s multimedia creative team and will be responsible for developing print design, website and video projects.

Liberty resident Sarra Mohn joins the firm where her focus will be on client fulfillment and business development.


Diane Theis of Boardman recently was recognized by Premier Designs Jewelry as being third in its list of top-five retailers in the nation in March. She also is a member of the president’s circle, which includes the top 5 percent of the company and the president’s club, which is the top 5 percent of the top 5 percent during the February, March and April accounting periods in retail sales.
