Lists of vacation Bible schools open to the public will run on the Religion page. Please include the following information: the complete name of the church; address with city or township; time, date and location of sessions; program theme; ages or grades; and whether it’s free or there is a fee. Information should be submitted two weeks before the school’s opening or its registration deadline. For verification, include a name and phone number of a contact person, which will not be published.

Who: Central Christian Church.

What: “God is Big Enough” is the theme.

When: 5:30 to 8 p.m. June 17-21.

Where: Church, 2051 E. Market St., Warren.

Details: The free program, open to all in the community, is for children from 3 years old through fifth grade. Dinner will be provided each evening. Activities include songs, Bible story, crafts and recreation. There will be a collection of items for Church World Service to assemble school supply kits. Items include rounded child scissors, 70-count spiral notebooks, 12-inch rulers, hand-held pencil sharpeners, large erasers, new pencils, box of 24 crayons and canvas bags. When: 9 a.m. to noon June 24-28.

Where: Church, 40 S. Market St., East Palestine.

Who: Clarks Mills United Methodist Church.

What: Kingdom Rock, Where Kids Stand Strong for God.”

When: 9 a.m. to noon June 17-21.

Where: Church, 3813 Hadley Road, Clarks Mills, Pa.

Details: The program, geared to 3-year-olds to youth, includes games, music and snacks.

Who: Girard area churches.

What: “Kingdom Rock, Where Kids Stand Strong for God” is the theme of the community activity.

When: 9 a.m. to noon June 24-28.

Where: St. Rose School, 61 E. Main St., Girard.

Details: The program is for children from 4 years old to fifth grade (level currently completing). A $5 registration fee per child helps defray the cost of shirts, snacks and crafts. The mission will be collecting school supplies for Emmanuel Community Care Center, which will distribute them to children in need. Girard First United Methodist Church is in charge of crafts and will provide cupcakes the first day. For information, call Nicole Melfi at 330-545-2263.

Who: Liberty Assembly of God.

What: “SonWest Roundup” is the theme.

When: 9 a.m. to noon June 17-21.

Where: Church, 6779 Belmont Ave., Liberty.

Details: The session is for pre-kindergarten through sixth-graders. Closing program will be at 10:30 a.m. June 23 followed by a free chuck wagon lunch and horse rides. For information, call 330-652-9792.

What: VBS program

When: 5 to 8 p.m. June 17-21.
