The Diocese of Youngs-town Office of Religious Education will host an information meeting about the Loyola University New Orleans Institute for Ministry Extension Program (LIMEX) from 7 to 8:30 p.m. June 25 at Our Lady of the Lakes Parish, St. James Church Hall in North Jackson.
Course requirements, tuition, spiritual formation and application for this graduate religious education and pastoral studies degree and certificate program will be outlined.
Students also choose two additional courses in their focus area or religious education.
Lay, religious, and ordained people who are engaged in church ministry, or laity who want to address themselves to their ministry in the world, are encouraged to attend.
Ten of the courses are taken in learning groups; each course is led by a Loyola certified facilitator.
Sessions for each course employ a learning design in which downloadable class lectures and other required and suggested readings are correlated with the participant’s experience by means of reflective processes.
Registration for the meeting is requested; call 330-744-8451, or visit www.lim.loyno.edu.
