ATHLETIC GROUPS

Girard Golden Eagles will meet at 2 p.m. Sunday at Girard Free Library, 105 E. Prospect St.

McDonald Midget Football Association will meet at 6 p.m. Sunday in the community room at the post office building.

McDonald Sideliners will meet at 7 p.m. Tuesday at the high school.

AUXILIARIES

St. Elizabeth Health Center Auxiliary will meet at noon Monday in the private dining room at St. Elizabeth’s on Belmont Avenue. The guest speaker will be Erin Kouvas, instructor at Yoga Urth.

CLASSES

South High School Alumni Association has changed its June meeting to 1 p.m. Wednesday at Denny’s on Route 224 in Boardman. Plans will be finalized for the All-Alumni Reunion on June 21 at the Saxon Club.

Woodrow Wilson High School January and June Classes of 1947 will meet for breakfast at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday at Denny’s in Boardman. Members of the 1946 and 1948 classes are welcome.

Woodrow Wilson High School Class of 1959 will meet at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday at Stonebridge Grille, 1497 Boardman-Canfield Road, Boardman.

CLUBS

Mahoning Valley Retreads will meet Saturday at Denny’s, 4927 Mahoning Ave., Austintown. Breakfast will be at 10 a.m., and the general meeting will follow. Mahoning Valley Stamp Club will meet at 7 p.m. Thursday at Highway Tabernacle, 3000 S. Raccoon Road, Austintown. The club meets the second Thursday of each month.

Yo-Mah-O Chapter of the International Association of Administrative Professionals will meet at 6 p.m. Tuesday at A La Cart Catering in Canfield. The evening will begin with dinner followed by recognition of scholarship winners and installation of officers. Cost for the dinner is $17.50. All administrative professionals are welcome. Youngstown Mothers of Twins Club will have an installation dinner at 6 p.m. Wednesday at Nicollini’s Restaurant on Boardman-Canfield Road in Boardman. Debbie Mason and Melody Broderick are in charge of the event, which will include the installation of officers and initiation of new members. Plans will be discussed for the 64th Annual Ohio Federation of Mothers of Multiples State Convention on June 21 and 22 at the Holiday Inn in Perrysburg, Ohio. LIBRARY FRIENDS

Friends of the Boardman Library will meet at noon Monday for the annual summer picnic. No meetings take place in the summer; they will resume in September. The Friends will continue to collect books, magazines, DVDs and CDs from 10 a.m. to noon the first and third Saturday of each month. Donations, especially children’s books, are needed.

RELIGIOUS GROUPS

St. Monica Guild of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church will meet at 7 p.m. Tuesday. Patti Rossi will preside. Hostesses are Marie Ronyak, Carrie Rossi, Sandra Ruark and Rose Ruggieri.

St. Rose Quilting Group will meet at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the parish house.

Youngstown Women’s Connection will meet from noon to 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Saxon Club, 710 S. Meridian Road, Austintown. Doors open at 11:15 a.m. The special feature will be Cookie Lee Jewelry by consultant Jenn Dravecky. Special music will be provided by Rita and Tim Stewart, and the guest speaker is Rita Stewart on “The Secret to Lasting Wealth.” The cost is $12. Cancellations are due Monday. SINGLES

D.A.R.E. Singles Group meets at 7:30 p.m. each Thursday at Disciples Christian Church, 565 Boardman-Canfield Road. Other activities scheduled are as follows: Saturday, road trip to Debonn Winery, meet at 1:45 p.m. at Panera, Austintown; Monday, walking or biking at 6 p.m. at the trail on Kirk Road in Canfield; Wednesday, volunteer from 5 to 7 p.m. at Second Harvest Food Bank; and Thursday, picnic at 6 p.m. at Masters Pavilion in Boardman Park.

SOCIETIES

Mahoning County Chapter of the Ohio Genealogical Society will have its annual potluck dinner at 6 p.m. Monday at St. Charles Church Ministry Building, 7325 Westview Drive, Boardman. Ginger Grilli of Salem will be speaking on Women of the Civil War. The computer interest group will not meet. The regular monthly meetings will resume Sept. 16. Weight Loss Surgery Support Group will meet at 6 p.m. Tuesday at UPMC Horizon Greenville, Pa., campus.

Youngstown Area Ostomy Support Group, sponsored by Humility of Mary Health Partners, will meet from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. Tuesday in the Cedar Room at St. Elizabeth Boardman Health Center, 8401 Market St. The group informs and encourages those who have or will have ostomies. The free meeting is open to patients and their families and friends. Refreshments are provided, and parking is free. For information call 330-480-3440. The group meets monthly at varying sites in Mahoning and Trumbull counties.

Youngstown PFLAG will meet from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Tuesday at St. John’s Episcopal Church, 323 Wick Ave., Youngstown. Use the entrance to the parish house at the back of the church. Meetings are confidential and open to anyone needing support or having questions concerning GLBT issues.

VETERANS
