Corinne Saffell and Daniel Simon, both of Santa Monica, Calif., exchanged vows May 18 at the Follonico Bed and Breakfast. Sina Bruckmann officiated at the 2 p.m. ceremony. A reception followed at the same location.
The bride is the daughter of Michele and Ron Saffell of Liberty. Brunhilde and Dietmar Simon of Stralsund, Germany, are the parents of the groom.
The bride wore an ivory lace gown with a portrait neckline, modified A-line skirt and chapel train that featured a high illusion back with lace-covered buttons. The ensemble was completed with a birdcage veil held by a gold and crystal comb the bride designed.
The matron of honor was Andrea Moore, the bride’s sister. She wore an ivory lace gown.
Chris Gudi performed the duties of best man.
The bride-elect attended the School of Visual Arts in New York City and graduated from Clayton College with a bachelor’s degree in natural health. She is the owner and designer of Reverie by Corinne in Santa Monica.
The groom graduated with a degree in transportation design from Pforzheim University of Applied Sciences in Pforzheim, Germany.
He is the owner and president of Cosmic Motors as well as a concept designer, author and producer in Santa Monica.
After a wedding trip to Lake Como, Italy, the couple reside in Santa Mon- ica.
