A musical event sponsored by 2 Deep Entertainment will close East Federal Street between Market and Walnut streets from 8 a.m. Saturday to 10 a.m. Sunday.
Nicholas Cost, 56, of Warren, who was involved in a two-motorcycle accident at North Road and Crestview Avenue on July 11, died Monday in St. Joseph Health Center of his injuries.
Cost was riding a Big Dog motorcycle southbound on North Road at 10 p.m. July 11. David Robinson, 50, of Williamsport, Pa., was riding his 2007 Harley-Davidson northbound on North Road and attempted to make a left turn onto Crestview Avenue.
Robinson, while turning left, was struck by Cost, and they both were ejected from their motorcycles. Neither man was wearing a helmet. Robinson was transported to Trumbull Memorial Hospital with minor injuries. Toxicology results on both drivers are pending. The Ohio State Highway Patrol continues to investigate.
Police found five marijuana plants about 4:10 p.m. Wednesday while investigating a shots-fired call at a 1301 Scioto Ave. home on the East Side. Police found five spent .40-caliber shell casings in the street.
At 1301 Scioto Ave., police found six bullet holes on the side of the home. The officers found a plant in the basement and four more plants in a bedroom, reports said.
