July 8

Criminal trespassing: Police issued a summons to Chadwick Tatarka,18, of 5552 Norquest Blvd., for criminal trespassing.

Drug offense: Police issued a summons to Mark Piroch, 24, of 128 W. Main St., Austintown, for possession of a drug-abuse instrument.

Theft: Air vent units with filters were damaged and steel was taken at Polaris, 500 Victoria Road.

Criminal damaging: A vehicle was scratched and punctured at a home in the 3000 block of Burkey Road.

Theft: A truck tailgate was stolen from an auto at Advanced Auto Parts, 4801 Mahoning Ave.

Criminal damaging: A window was broken at a home in the 4000 block of Norquest Boulevard.

Felonious assault: Four suspects were involved in an assault at the BP gas station, 3107 Sharon Drive, Boardman.

Burglary: LCD televisions and a Wii video game were stolen from a home in the 500 block of Forest Avenue.

Theft: Xanax was stolen from a home in the 500 block of Notre Dame Avenue.

July 9

Theft: A wallet, bank card and driver’s license were stolen at Country Fair, 143 N. Niles-Canfield Road.

Telecommunications harassment: Telecommunications harassment was reported at the Austintown Plaza, 6000 Mahoning Ave.

Recovered property: Stolen jewelry was recovered at Austintown Pawn, 3700 Mahoning Ave.

Warrant: Police arrested Charles Edmond,19, of 2053 Burning Tree Lane, Youngstown, on a warrant for theft.

July 10

Criminal damaging: Police issued a summons to Andrew Soloman, 32, of 3225 Starwick Drive, Canfield, for criminal damaging at a home in the 4000 block of Sheffield Drive.

July 11

Theft: A total of $30 in diesel fuel and $8.63 in merchandise were stolen from the BP Fast Track, 890 N. Canfield-Niles Road.

Theft: Police issued a warrant to Johnathan Faircloth, 29, of 2343 Mount Vernon Ave., Youngstown, for theft of food valued at $2.19 at Sheetz Gas Station, 5499 Mahoning Ave.

Assault: An assault was reported at a home in the 100 block of Chadwick Lane.

Theft: An undetermined amount of money was taken from a manager’s purse at Perkins Restaurant, 5550 Interstate Blvd.

Theft: Four outdoor air-conditioning units were taken at Jump Stretch, 1230 N. Meridian Road.

Warrant: Police arrested Robert Jarrell, 35, of 600 N. Four Mile Run Road, on a warrant for failure to appear on a charge of possessing drug instruments.

Theft: Police charged David Buchanan, 40, of 5512 Callaway Circle, with theft from the Walmart, 6001 Mahoning Ave.

July 12

Warrant: Police arrested James Hopson, 69, of 444 Catalina Ave., Youngstown, on a warrant for obstructing official business.

Theft: A female took items inside a store and returned them for cash at Walmart.

Fraud: An Internet scam was reported at a home in the 2000 block of Meadow Lane.

Burglary: Two Chinchillas were taken from a home in the 500 block of Forest Hill Drive.

Assault: A man was a victim of assault at a home in the 4000 block of Fitzgerald Ave.

Fraud: Unauthorized charges of $2,400 were reported at a home in the 1000 block of Cedarwood Drive.

July 13

Warrant: Police arrested Kenneth Slusher, 50, of 17727 Jersey St., Lake Milton, on warrants for failure to appear on a theft charge.

Obstructing official business: Police charged Kevon Williams, 22, of 2307 Ohio Ave., with obstructing official business, and arrested him on warrants for trafficking in heroin, trafficking in counterfeit controlled substance, possession of cocaine and heroin.

Warrant: Police arrested Eric Campana, 21, of 172 Logan Ave., Warren, on a warrant for violation of a protection order and aggravated menacing.

Criminal damaging: Keyhole damage was done to the front door of a home in the 2000 block of Fox Chase.

Obstructing official business: Police charged Parrish Henderson, 51, of 377 Lora Ave., Youngstown, with obstructing official business and turned him over to Warren police on warrants.

Theft: A woman had her debit card used multiple times at Westgate Motel, 4493 Mahoning Ave.

Disorderly conduct: Police issued a summons to Cameron Shaffer, 22,of 1923 Brownlee Ave., Youngstown, for disorderly conduct.

July 14

Vandalism: Damage to a hotel room and a vehicle were reported at Sleep Inn, 5555 Interstate Blvd.

Theft: Jewelry, coins and a cellphone were taken from a home in the 400 block of Forest Hill Drive.

Disorderly conduct: Police issued a summons to Joshua Parker, 27, of 476 S. Raccoon Road, Youngstown, for disorderly conduct after his arrest in the township.

Burglary: A trailer was entered and several guns stolen at a home in the 20 block of Peggy Lane.

Breaking and entering: Three units were opened but it was unknown if anything was taken at Blue Star Mini,1269 N. Canfield-Niles Road.

Burglary: Copper pipe, a water meter and two windows were damaged at a home in the 1000 block of DeHoff Drive.

Warrant: Police arrested Darrel Richardson, 34,of 2007 Fox Chase Ave., on a warrant for failure to appear in court.

Theft: A cellphone was stolen at Austintown Township Park, 6000 Kirk Road.

Theft: Jewelry and a camera were taken from a home in the 4000 block of Burkey Road.

Theft: Checks were stolen and then forged and cashed at a home in the 4000 block of Burkey Road.

Theft: Prescription pills were taken from a car parked at Save-a-Stop, 4226 Mahoning Ave.

July 15

Receiving stolen property: Large amounts of stolen jewelry were received at Austintown Pawn, 3700 Mahoning Ave.

Theft: Jewelry was taken and pawned at a home in the 1000 block of South Navarre Avenue.

Assault: A victim was assaulted by multiple individuals at a home in the 3000 block of Oakleigh Street.

Breaking and entering: Multiple power tools were taken at Ken Huffman Heating LLC., 168 S. Meridian Road.

Criminal damaging: Two tires were slashed at a home in the 2000 block of Athens Drive.

Theft: There is a suspect in a theft at Walmart, 6001 Mahoning Ave.

Drug offense: Jeremy Ruble, 36, of 1350 S. Schenley Ave., Youngstown was arrested on charges of drug abuse of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia and on a warrant out of the Trumbull County Sheriff’s office.

Rape: Sean Watkins, 41,of 402 Tenth St., B, Niles was arrested on charges of rape, burglary and domestic violence.

Felonious assault: Guy Ague, 45, of 3855 Frederick St., was arrested on a charges of felonious assault, resisting arrest and felonious assault.

Bad checks: A business was issued insufficient fund checks for union workers benefits at UA Local 396, 33 Fitch Blvd.

July 16

Theft: A gun and camera were taken at a home in the 4000 block of Fitzgerald Avenue.

Recovered property: A wallet was recovered in the 1000 block of North Canfield-Niles Road.

Theft: Wood pallets may have been taken at Kmart, 4475 Mahoning Ave.

Lost or stolen wallet; A wallet was lost or stolen at Country Fair, 1143 N. Canfield-Niles Road.

Theft: Vicodin pills were stolen at a home in the 3000 block of Brandomyne Avenue.

July 17

Drug offense: Mallory Raach, 22, of 7786 Venice Heights Drive, Warren, was issued a summons for possession of drug paraphernalia and marijuana.

Domestic violence: Threats were received from a grandson at a home in the 40 block of Placid Blvd.

Theft: An envelope containing an undetermined amount of money was stolen at Country Fair, 1143 N. Canfield-Niles Road.

Warrant: Ricky Jackson, 36, of 1184 N. Meridian Road, Youngstown, was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear on a theft charge.

Theft: A theft was reported at a home in the 1000 block of Javitt Court.

Theft: Three women took money from a driver after a card game at Pilot Oil, 1150 N. Canfield-Niles Road.

Drug offense: Roy Davis, 37, of 800 Ohio Ave., McDonald, was issued a summons for possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.

Theft: Suspects gained entry into a van at a home in the 3000 block of Frederick Street.

July 18

Drug offense: Randy Heath, 32, of 98 S. 2nd St., Greenville, Pa., was issued a summons for possession of marijuana.

Domestic violence: John Dickey, 21, of 5531 W.Webb Road, was issued a summons for domestic violence.

Theft: Christopher Soroka, 34, 2450 S. Raccoon Road, No. 6, was arrested on a charge of theft at County Gardens, 5627 Mahoning Ave.

Theft: A bicycle was stolen at Austintown Library, 600 S. Raccoon Road.

Theft: Two air-conditioning units were stolen by two male suspects at Walmart.

Burglary: Two handguns and a checkbook were stolen from a home in the 1000 block of Orkney Ave.

Theft: Medication, jewelry and money were taken at a home in the 100 block of Georgetown Place.

Theft: An iPhone was taken at Shell Gas station, 1704 S. Raccoon Road.

July 19

Disorderly conduct: Peter Harasyn, 34,of 352 Forest Hill Drive, was issued a summons for disorderly conduct.

Theft: A wallet was stolen from an auto parked at a home in the 6000 block of Kirk Road.

Recovered property: A bicycle was recovered at a home in the 4000 block of Pembrook Road.

Theft: A wallet was stolen from a home in the 100 block of North Meridian Road.

Theft: A .38-caliber handgun was taken at a home in the 4000 block of South Warwick Drive.

July 20

Disturbance: Roommates at an apartment in the 400 block of South Raccoon Road were fighting.

Theft: Gas was stolen from a vehicle in the 300 block of Dehoff Drive.

Fraud: A male paid $800 for work that was never done at a home in the 200 block of Carnegie Avenue.

July 21

Assault: A male victim was taken to ValleyCare Trumbull Memorial Hospital after an assault by an unknown suspect at the Ice House/Beach Shack, 5516 W. Webb Road.

Misuse of 911 system: A female keeps calling 911 at the Austintown Police department.

Warrant: Jessica Saddler, 22, of 2922 Warren Ave., McDonald, was arrested on a warrant for obstructing justice.

Assault: An assault was reported at KFC, 4642 Mahoning Ave. A victim was punched by another person.

Domestic violence: Christopher Shultz, 33, of 1905 S. Raccoon Road was arrested on a charge of domestic violence.

Disturbance: A dispute over property was reported at a home in the 300 block of Benton Ave.

Aggravated menacing: Robert Barnett, 63, of 2732 Canfield-Niles Road, was arrested on charges of criminal damaging and endangering.

Theft: A catalytic converter was stolen from an auto at a home in the 6000 block of Mahoning Ave.

Criminal damaging: Holes were made in the bathroom wall of the men’s room at the Icehouse Inn, 5516 W. Webb Road.

Drug offense: Cameron Robinson, 22, of 344 Sexton St., Struthers, was issued summonses for possession of drug paraphernalia and marijuana and falsification.
